Agile Culture

In this post I jus want to annotate some references that I collected by being in the conference of Janet Gregory at Skills Matter.

Here there are some of the notes that I collected:

  • Reactive vs Responsive:
    • If the team don't manage and directs the architecture (new dev or evolution) the team won't be able to be responsive, the only way to survive is being reactive to the user requests.
  • Learning culture organization:
    • Not only is useful to send people to do courses or masters, encourage people to learn, to learn what the projects need today and tomorrow.
  • Mission statements:
    • Main goals of the company, department, team.
    • All team needs to know and respect the goals.
    • Crap code totally oposite to "client is ...."
  • The main objective of agile is deliver good software.
